Upon enrolling at the University of Pavia, your student account for the University Library System is created and activated as well, so you aren't required to go through a specific registration procedure.

You can check the status of your account through the User Area of the library catalogue ("Area Utente" on the upper right side); the library credentials are the same you need to access your Student Profile account (ESSE3) and/or the University WiFi Network (Fiscal Code and Password, all in capital letters).

The library credentials/account give you access to all the services provided by the University Library System (SiBA), from how to borrow books to how to book a seat in the study rooms of your library of choice. If you are a freshman at the university, you can also check this calendar (Corsi ed Eventi) to find out when and where there will be a scheduled lecture regarding the library services (Bibliorienteering) for the course you are attending.
